The National Duncan Glass Society

In 1975, a group of collectors formed the National Duncan Glass Society in Washington, Pennsylvania.  The mission of the new organization was: “To collect information concerning the history, patterns, and manufacturing techniques of the Duncan & Miller Glass and to establish a museum or permanent exhibit of Duncan & Miller Glass.  For seventeen years the  Museum was located in two rooms at the Washington County Historical Society’s LeMoyne House.

In 1992, the Society purchased an old house on Jefferson Avenue in Washington, PA, not far from where the Duncan & Miller Factory once stood. The site was remodeled and upgraded and on July 8, 1993, the Duncan & Miller Glass Museum was opened.  Since that time, the National Duncan Glass Society has worked  tirelessly to expand the permanent collection of Duncan & Miller Glass.

The members of the National Duncan Glass Society are dedicated to preserving the rich history of the Duncan & Miller for the enjoyment and education of future generations.
